Alex Caldwell is a graduate of the Alberta University of the Arts (AUArts) Sculpture program (BFA, 1985), where he studied under renowned sculptor Katie Ohe. Known for his clean, minimalist aesthetic, Caldwell’s work often features sleek, glass-like steel surfaces and vibrant color. His sculptures are widely collected and he has completed numerous public and private commissions. His work can be found in collections across Canada and internationally.
